An East Granby CT "Historical Homestead" and landmark, known widely as a thriving tobacco farm from the 1930's to the 1950's growing the world renowned Connecticut Tobacco, the farm was renovated by the Trusz family between 2010 and 2013. After its renovation it changed its operation to become a grape vineyard and horse ranch.
Our grape vines are always being studied for plants that will survive the humid summers and the harsh winters of New England, and are grown to develop a sturdy producing plant. Horse boarding and retired race horses are always a part of the farm and the processing of Trusz Family Farms. Maple syrup keeps the farm active, along with selling of our hay production to local farms.
